You've either stumbled upon this site accidentally in which case you might like to stay a while or you've found it because you're looking for the best quality movie and TV comedy clips. But however you found it, welcome to the site. I hope you enjoy your visit.

This site has its origins in a very basic site I designed back in 1997 and which ran for several years. That was in the days when I was just learning how to design websites and the clips were all in Real Audio format. Which was about as much use as a catflap on a submarine. But now I know how to create websites and I thought I might ressurect SoundBytes just for a giggle. I've certainly received some good feedback.

Feel free to call back often. Now that the site is designed, I just need to add lots of content. And it's this that takes the time. There might only be 10 movies / tv shows to choose from at the moment but rest assured I'll be adding to this number feverishly over the next few months. And beyond...

To begin your own chuckle-fest, select a movie or TV show from the drop-down list in the top right corner of the page. There's an integral player built in to the site (which is tested for use in Internet Explorer and Google Chrome) if you just want a quick fix of humour. But of course you can always download any clips for your own use (as ringtones for example) by right-clicking the button to the right of the player adjacent to the clip you want and selecting "Save Target As..." so long as you agree to leave the MP3 tags intact and not to use them for any form of commercial purpose.

Oh and be warned, some of the clips featured on this site are definitely NOT for little ears! Accordingly, being a responsible web designer (as well as father of two) I've restricted access to the site to adults only so that products such as Netnanny and Kidswatch do not allow your children access. I can't do any more than that.
